An Italian heirloom with large, aromatic, dark green leaves and lovely edible flowers. It is widely used for culinary purposes and most famous for its use in pesto. Basil is a frost-sensitive, annual herb.
Growing Tips:Sow seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last spring frost. Transplant outdoors, or direct sow when temperatures are 50˚or above.
